Another outstanding day on Lake Tawakoni produced a cooler full of magnum white bass for our clients. The fish were holding in 15 to 20 feet of water, and once we located the schools, the bite stayed consistent throughout the morning.
The hot lure was a 1-ounce chartreuse slab spoon, fished vertically through active schools of feeding fish. The white bass were aggressive and hitting hard, providing fast action and plenty of quality fish for the cooler.
